Frisco is adding exciting new attractions to the Peninsula Recreation Area. Locate just south of downtown off Hwy 9 the peninsula has always been a great amenity for the town. Phase one beginning construction soon is a tubing hill which should be open by Thanksgiving. Also in phase one is a day lodge for the Nordic center, a bike park, terrain park and roadway and parking improvements. The public is invited to the groundbreaking May 4 at 1pm. Come on out and see what all is happening.
