Just take a Hike!

 

Colorado offers an alpine playground with some of the best hiking and climbing opportunities in the world. A maze of developed roads and trails offer excellent access to this mountain paradise with it’s breathtaking scenery. Colorado’s mountains still contain wild and pristine places that will thrill any backcountry enthusiast. The mountains form a spectacular roof, capping the western United States. Over 1,500 peaks extending above timberline and 54 over 14,000-Feet high which makes nearly 4,000 individual summits in all. Many of these hikes do not require special technical ability or equipment. Summit hikes range from 6,000 feet to over 14,000 feet in height and are situated throughout the vast topography of the Colorado mountains. If you live in Colorado or are visiting on vacation it is time to get out there and “Just a take a hike!”
