Plus kitchens play a huge role in the re-sale value of your home so it is one of the most important areas to focus on when staging your home. 

   Here are a few simple kitchen staging tips that can make a huge difference in the sale of your home:

-       If you don’t have a separate dining room it is important to show the dual purpose of your kitchen. Setting a small table will show that your kitchen has more than one purpose.

-       You will be amazed at how much of a difference a fresh coat of paint can make, paint, paint, paint.

-       De-clutter & Clean.

-       Turn lights on for showings.

-       Make updates whenever possible. The two most important items to consider when updating are counters & cabinets.

If you have to choose one place to spend some extra time and money on while staging,  the kitchen should be your first priority. Staging can be a lot of work but don’t be afraid to put in some elbow grease because staging will pay off and can be a lot of fun along the way. Let your creative juices flow, just remember you are trying to appeal to a large number of people. Try to be as neutral as possible.
