Lake County, home to the highest airport in North America, has undergone $4 million of improvements in the past year. In hopes of attracting more commercial and corporate traffic, improvements have been made to hanger space, round the clock fueling and a GPS to make landings safer. This is just another step in bringing back a sleeper of a town from near ruin. The bottom dropped out when the Climax mine closed in the mid-‘80’s. This area is a great investment for the future though if you are looking for growth in your real estate portfolio.
